DaysofPal- The Israeli occupation forces continued violating the ceasefire on Saturday morning, carrying out artillery shelling and opening fire in several areas across eastern Gaza.
A local source reported that Israeli artillery struck eastern Khan Younis, while Israeli military vehicles opened fire northeast of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
Israeli artillery also targeted eastern areas of Gaza City, while Israeli naval vessels fired several shells into the waters off Gaza City.
On Friday evening, Israeli artillery shelled areas east of Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.
These actions are part of ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel, which came into effect on October 10.
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, a total of 636 Palestinians have been killed and 1,704 injured, while 753 bodies have been recovered from the rubble.
Israeli violations of the ceasefire have now reached day 149, affecting multiple areas across the Gaza Strip.
Over the past 24 hours alone, three Palestinians were killed and several others injured in separate incidents across the territory.
Among the victims was Ayman Al-Nabih (54), who was killed in a drone strike near Gaza Martyrs School in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City.
Abdel Asaad Qambour (33) was killed by an Israeli sniper on Salah Al-Din Street near the Shuja’iyya neighborhood in eastern Gaza.
In Beit Lahia, 13-year-old Ismail Aql Amr was killed by gunfire near Khalifa School.
Early Saturday morning, Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike on Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza and another strike east of Khan Younis in the south.
Israeli artillery also shelled eastern Gaza City, while Israeli naval boats opened fire in the waters off both Gaza City and Khan Younis.
Since the ceasefire began on October 11, the total number of Palestinians killed has reached 636, with 1,704 wounded and 753 bodies recovered from under the rubble.
Since the beginning of the Israeli assault on October 7, 2023, the overall toll has risen to 72,120 killed and 171,802 injured.
