On the second anniversary of the assassination of Qassem Soleimani
Iranian hackers targeted two Israeli media websites, on Monday, on the second anniversary of the assassination of the commander of the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Qassem Soleimani.
The hackers targeted the website of the “Jerusalem Post” newspaper, and the account of the newspaper “Maariv” on Twitter.
The hackers published a picture of a ring firing a ballistic missile, next to it, a destroyed site, and on it was written in English and Hebrew: We are closer to you than you really think.
The Israeli newspaper “Jerusalem Post” said: “It is not clear whether the hackers were from Iran or their supporters from outside the country, or whether they were sponsored by the state.”
The penetration did not last long, as the Israeli media rushed to stop it.
The United States assassinated Soleimani in Baghdad on January 3, 2022.
And the “Jerusalem Post” pointed out that the destroyed site, which was mentioned in the photo published by the hackers, is believed to symbolize the Israeli Dimona nuclear reactor.
In recent weeks, Israeli officials threatened to strike nuclear facilities in Iran, if Tehran came close to obtaining a nuclear weapon.
And military officials announced the launch of military exercises to strike Iranian sites.

Israel is closely following the negotiations taking place in Vienna, between the United States of America and Iran, regarding its nuclear program.
