Israeli occupation forces (IOF) uprooted hundreds of Palestinian olive trees and demolished several structures in Al-Mughayier village, northeast of occupied Ramallah.
Palestinian local sources reported that Israeli bulldozers razed about 250 olive trees and demolished several rooms used for agricultural purposes and a water well in the area.
The sources added that the olive trees are owned by the Palestinian farmers Akram Naasan and Udai Abu Alia.
According to Palestinian figures, Israeli occupation forces and settlers uprooted, burnt, and destroyed about 18,900 Palestinian trees in 2022, mostly olive trees.
The figures pointed out that the Israeli occupation authorities confiscated during the same period about 112,435 acres of Palestinian lands in favor of the settlement expansion.
