Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) razed and uprooted Wednesday, July 12, 2023, dozens of Palestinian-owned olive trees from the lands of the town of Kifl Haris, north of occupied Salfit.
Osama Saleh, the mayor of Kifl Haris, stated that the occupation forces razed lands from the southern side of the town, in order to lay water lines for the benefit of the Israeli industrial settlements of Barkan and Ariel.
Saleh added that the area of land razed and affected by the implementation of such project is estimated at approximately 50 dunums.
There are over 700,000 Israeli settlers living in colonial settlements across occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank in violation of International Law.
