DaysofPal- Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) carried out a series of overnight raids across multiple areas of the occupied West Bank on Saturday, detaining several Palestinians, including several former prisoners.
According to local sources, Israeli forces stormed neighborhoods and refugee camps in the city of Nablus, arresting four residents after raiding and searching their homes.
In the eastern part of the city, forces entered the Balata, Old Askar, and New Askar refugee camps, where they conducted extensive searches and detained three men identified as Mohammad Abu Salem, Mohammad Salama, and Fajr Benhajawi, before withdrawing from Old Askar camp.
In the nearby town of Beit Furik, troops arrested Mahmoud Hussein Hannani following a pre-dawn raid on his family home.
Israeli forces also entered Nablus’s Old City, raiding several homes near the Dhafar al-Masri School.
During the operation, Israeli forces removed posters and images of Palestinians killed in previous confrontations.
In the northern city of Qalqilya, the raids intensified as Israeli forces stormed the Kafr Saba neighborhood, arresting six young men, among them freed prisoners.
The weekend sweep marks the latest in a series of arrest campaigns across the West Bank, where tensions remain high amid ongoing military operations and repeated incursions into Palestinian towns and refugee camps.
