Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) raided Monday, July 24, 2023, Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, south of occupied Jericho and closed entrances to it.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces, with military reinforcements, stormed the Jabr checkpoint and deployed snipers on the rooftops of Palestinian houses, leading to confrontations during which Israeli forces fired live bullets and poison gas bombs.
Sources added that occupation forces raided the house of the Palestinian citizen Hassan Awadat’s family in the camp, searched it, and tampered with its contents.
Daily and systematically, Israeli occupation forces commit violations and attacks against Palestinian citizens, closures, deliberate detentions, home demolitions and deportation, suffocating and complicating Palestinian lives in order to force them to leave their homelands.
