DaysofPal- The Israeli Occupation forces (IOF) continued bombing the Gaza Strip, killing at least 24 Palestinians on Sunday, according to local sources, including four civilians who were seeking food near an aid center north of Rafah, according to medical officials at the Nasser Complex.
Last night, Israeli air strikes targeted several residential buildings, especially in the Tal al-Hawa area, the Shati refugee camp, and the Nassr area.
In the south and central Gaza, we see drones, and we can also see Israeli naval warships that are operating close to shore as a warning to those families still making a journey south that safety is not completely guaranteed.
Locals said the Israeli bombardment continued overnight in both displacement zones and Gaza City, where most of Israeli ground operations have intensified in recent weeks.
According to Gaza’s Government Media Office, over 2,700 families, representing 8,500 individuals, have been erased from the civil registry since the war began two years ago. The casualties include 1,015 infants, 1,670 medical workers, 254 journalists, and 140 civil defense responders.
As the Israeli genocide continues, Israeli occupation and Hamas are preparing for indirect negotiations in Egypt on Monday to discuss Donald Trump’s 20-point ceasefire proposal, which both sides have largely agreed to in principle.
Hamas confirmed that its delegation, led by Khalil al-Hayya, arrived in Sharm el-Sheikh and will begin talks focusing on the ceasefire mechanisms, Israeli troop withdrawal, and a potential prisoner exchange.
The Israeli team is expected to arrive on Monday, according to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office.
Foreign ministers from Egypt, Jordan, Indonesia, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, and the UAE issued a joint statement on Sunday welcoming Hamas’s engagement with Trump’s plan and its commitment to release captives and transfer Gaza’s administration to an independent Palestinian technocratic committee.
