Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) notified Monday, February 20, 2023 a demolition order of the house of the Palestinian prisoner, Islam Farroukh (26), in Kafr Aqab in the occupied Jerusalem.
Late January, the occupation forces took the measurements of two houses belonging to the family of the Palestinian prisoner Farroukh, in preparation for their demolition.
The Occupation Prosecution called for extending the detention of the Palestinian prisoner, Farroukh, until the end of the judicial procedures against him.
It’s noteworthy that the rapid increase of demolition orders, with the Israeli new government, aims at displacing Palestinians and evacuating the lands in favor of the settlement expansions.
Israel’s planning and building policy in the West Bank derails Palestinian development and dispossessing Palestinians of their land, said the Israeli Information Center for human rights in occupied territories, B’Tselem.
On the other hand, Israel easily gives the estimated 560,000 Jewish settlers there building permits and provides them with roads, electricity, water and sewage systems that remain inaccessible to many native Palestinians.
