DaysofPal- The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have significantly escalated their crimes in the West Bank since the start of the year, killing approximately 70 Palestinians, including civilians and resistance fighters.
15 martyrs were reported in 38 in Jenin, in Tubas, 6 in Nablus, 5 from Tulkarem, 3 from Hebron, 2 in Bethlehem, and 1 in occupied Jerusalem.
At least 10 children, a woman, and two elderly were among the reported victims.
The IOF launched a major offensive dubbed “Iron Wall” in the territory last month, shortly after the ceasefire was agreed in Gaza.
Israel has also tightened its measures on existing checkpoints and erected new ones across the occupied West Bank. At least 900 such checkpoints, gates and dirt mounds have cut off Palestinian communities and rendered movement next to impossible between villages, towns and cities.
