DaysofPal- Since dawn on Friday, 40 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli Occupation Forces and dozens of others injured in continuous bombing and airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, marking the 693rd day of the ongoing Israeli genocide.
Medics said that two civilians were killed and others wounded when Israeli aircraft targeted a group of people near Al-Shafi’i Mosque in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
Two other civilians waiting for aid were martyred by Israeli forces near Al-Shakoush area in northwest Rafah, southern Gaza.
Five more civilians were killed and others injured after Israeli aircraft targeted the home of the Ashour family early Friday in Tel al-Hawa, southwest of Gaza City.
Two more civilians were martyred and others wounded when remnants of a previously bombed home of the Al-Qrinawi family were hit by Israeli aircraft in Block 7 of Al-Bureij refugee camp, central Gaza.
Additionally, two civilians waiting for aid were shot and killed by Israeli forces near Netzarim in central Gaza.
Moreover, the Israeli forces detonated four explosive drones to destroy dozens of homes in the southern neighborhoods of Zeitoun and Sabra, as well as another explosive drone in Jabalia Al-Nuzlah, northern Gaza.
Three civilians were killed when a tent belonging to the Abu Jame’ family, located opposite the ETA station at Bir 19 in Khan Younis, was targeted: Mohamed Hafez Ahmed Abu Jame’ (29), his wife Razan Ibrahim Arafat Al-Barqoni (19), and Ibrahim Saad Salameh Al-Dabbari (58).
Faiq Mahmoud Abu Hammad (56) and another civilian were also martyred, with nine others injured, due to shelling of a tent near Tiberias in Khan Younis.
A source at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital reported three more martyrs and additional injuries following Israeli shelling in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza.
Backed by the United States, the Israeli occupation has been committing what amounts to genocide in Gaza since 7 October 2023, leaving more than 62,192 martyrs, 157,114 injured, and over 9,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands displaced and widespread famine that has claimed countless lives, including dozens of children.
