DaysofPal- The Israeli Occupation Forces “IOF” carried out a brutal airstrike early Tuesday on residential homes in the Al-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, killing 30 Palestinians, including 14 women and 12 children, and wounding dozens more.
The airstrike targeted several homes in the New Camp area north of Al-Nuseirat, reducing them to rubble and triggering a wave of displacement as terrified survivors fled in search of safety.
Medical teams at Al-Awda Hospital reported receiving the bodies of the victims, most of whom arrived in pieces due to the intensity of the bombing.
The dead include members of the Nabhan, Siyam, and Ataya families, according to medical sources.
The massacre marks another grim chapter in the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza, which has now entered its 662nd consecutive day.
Since the start of the Israeli war on October 7, 2023, the IOF has carried out relentless bombardments across the besieged enclave, killing and injuring more than 203,000 Palestinians, the vast majority of them women and children.
Over 9,000 people remain missing, and hundreds of thousands have been displaced under catastrophic conditions.
In a separate incident, Israeli warplanes bombed an apartment belonging to the Al-Batsh family near Haidar Roundabout in western Gaza City, killing two civilians and wounding several others. Additional airstrikes struck the Shuja’iyya and Al-Tuffah neighborhoods in eastern and northeastern Gaza, causing extensive destruction to civilian infrastructure and homes.
These attacks come as the Israeli occupation continues to ignore mounting international calls for a ceasefire and defies rulings by the International Court of Justice, which has demanded an end to what it described as potential acts of genocide in Gaza.
Meanwhile, the Israeli genocide enjoys continued political and military backing from the United States, drawing sharp criticism from human rights organizations and governments around the world.
The humanitarian crisis in Gaza has worsened dramatically, with entire neighborhoods destroyed, a severe shortage of food and medicine, and a famine that has already claimed many lives. The people of Gaza remain trapped between aerial bombardment, displacement, and hunger, with no haven and no end to the violence in sight.
