DaysofPal- The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) killed a Palestinian woman early Friday in the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis, bringing the number of fatalities linked to ongoing ceasefire violations to 11, local sources reported.
According to a correspondent with the Palestinian Information Center, Israeli military vehicles opened fire west of Khan Younis, with gunfire striking tents sheltering displaced families.
The victim was identified as 62-year-old Sabah Ahmed Ali Abu Jameh. Several others were wounded in the incident.
The correspondent said Israeli occupation forces also shelled areas south of Khan Younis and fired toward locations north of Rafah during the early morning hours.
The latest incident follows a wave of Israeli airstrikes late Thursday that killed at least 10 Palestinians across the Gaza Strip, according to medical officials. The strikes hit several locations, including a residential house in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza and a police checkpoint in Gaza City.
Hospital sources said three people were killed and others injured when an airstrike struck the home of the al-Khatib family in Nuseirat. The dead were identified as Ashraf al-Khatib and his wife.
Civil defense and ambulance teams transported the casualties to Al-Awda Hospital and Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.
In another attack, Israeli aircraft targeted a police checkpoint at the Nabulsi Junction southwest of Gaza City, killing three Palestinians. Separately, two bodies were recovered after an airstrike hit the courtyard of the al-Jarro family home west of Deir al-Balah, according to local reporters.
Earlier, Gaza’s Government Media Office stated that the Israeli occupation is committing widespread and systematic violations of the ceasefire agreement that took effect on October 10, 2025. In a statement issued Thursday, the office said it had documented 1,244 violations over 95 days, describing them as a breach of international humanitarian law and the ceasefire’s humanitarian provisions.
The reported violations include 402 incidents of direct gunfire at civilians, 66 military incursions into residential areas, 581 bombardments and attacks on civilian homes, and 195 cases involving the demolition of civilian buildings and institutions. The statement said these actions resulted in 449 deaths, 1,246 injuries, and 50 arrests.
Meanwhile, Gaza’s Health Ministry said the total number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire began has reached 451, with 1,251 wounded and 710 bodies recovered from the rubble.
Since the outbreak of the Israeli genocidal war on October 7, 2023, the ministry reported that the overall death toll has climbed to 71,441, with 171,329 people injured.
