Israeli occupation forces IOF kidnapped at least 14 Palestinians over military raids in the occupied West Bank on Monday morning, January 23, 2023.
Palestinian media sources reported that Israeli forces raided a Palestinian building in the Rafidia area, west of occupied Nablus, and carried out searches inside.
It added that Israeli forces kidnapped the Palestinian youth Mahmoud AlTaqtouq after raiding and wreaking havoc on his family’s home in the Fatayer area in Nablus.
In a related development, eyewitnesses said that Israeli forces break into a Palestinian home in the early hours of Monday and kidnapped three brothers in occupied Jenin.
Confrontations broke out following the Israeli raid near Al-Jalama’s Israeli checkpoint in occupied Jenin. The sources didn’t report any injuries.
Furthermore, Israeli occupation forces carried out military raids in occupied Hebron and Ramallah, kidnapping four other Palestinians.
Meanwhile, Palestinians in Bethlehem reported that the Israeli troops abducted three Palestinians, including a child and an ex-detainee after breaking into their homes.
Israeli occupation forces have been carrying out semi-daily military raids against Palestinian families since 1967 when Israel took over the West Bank and Jerusalem.
The Israeli military raids aim at terrorizing, abducting, and controlling the Palestinians’ lives. Other deadly raids result in murders.
Since the start of 2023, Israeli occupation forces have killed 18 Palestinians, including four children. Most of them were killed during military raids in their towns and cities.
