Israeli occupation forces on Sunday morning, September 25, 2022, forced a Palestinian family to self-demolish their own house in occupied Jerusalem.

Local sources reported that the Palestinian Farid Jaber was forced by Israeli occupation forces to self-demolish his house located near Al-Asbat gate in occupied Jerusalem.

The sources added that the occupation municipality threatened the Jaber family to pay fines if its crews carried out the demolition.

8 members of the Palestinian Jaber family were left displaced as a result of Israel’s unjust policy of house demolition.

Palestinian reports revealed that the Israeli occupation demolished about 90 Palestinian-owned houses during the first half of 2022 in occupied Jerusalem, 70 of which were self-demolish by their owners.
