DaysofPal- The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) continued to violate the Gaza ceasefire agreement on Friday, launching air and artillery strikes across several areas of the besieged enclave, marking the 28th day since the truce went into effect.
A child was injured early Friday morning when an Israeli drone dropped a bomb near Al-Sikka Street in the Al-Shujaiya neighborhood of eastern Gaza City.
Meanwhile, Israeli artillery targeted the outskirts of Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, as warplanes carried out airstrikes on multiple locations in the eastern parts of Khan Younis and Gaza City.
The Gaza Missing Persons Committee said the Strip has become “the world’s largest mass grave,” with more than 10,000 bodies still trapped under the rubble.
The committee called for the urgent entry of international rescue teams and modern technologies to recover and identify the victims.
In a separate statement, the Government Media Office in Gaza reported that only 4,453 aid trucks have entered the territory since the ceasefire began, less than one-third of the 15,600 trucks that were supposed to arrive by Wednesday under the humanitarian arrangements tied to the truce.
According to the office, the aid shipments included 31 trucks carrying cooking gas and 84 trucks loaded with diesel fuel for bakeries, hospitals, generators, and other vital sectors.
The statement stressed that these limited quantities fall far short of the population’s daily needs amid severe shortages caused by two years of siege, destruction, and the “ genocidal war” waged by the Israeli occupation.
Currently, only 171 trucks are entering Gaza per day, compared to the 600 stipulated in the humanitarian protocol, underscoring the ongoing Israeli policy of “strangulation, starvation, and political blackmail” against 2.4 million Palestinians, the office added.
The statement concluded by urging the international community to ensure the regular entry of at least 600 trucks daily carrying food, medicine, fuel, and essential supplies to sustain life for Gaza’s civilians.
