Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) continued Thursday, June 15, 2023, to raze Palestinian agricultural lands, east of the village of Siniriya, south of occupied Qalqilya.
The village chief council, Hazzaa Al-Sheikh, stated that the Israeli occupation bulldozers continue to level Palestinian citizens’ lands, planted with olives, in the “Al-Wadat” area, south of the village.
He added that the occupation forces had seized the land belonging to the families of “Al-Sheikh, Ali, Abu Hijleh, and Al-Bari” about a year and a half ago, and had leveled about 40 dunums of it so far.
Hazzaa also explained that this bulldozing came in the implementation of a settlement plan issued about 3 years ago, which requires the establishment of more Israeli settlement units in favor of expanding the “Ets Ephraim” settlement built on the village lands.
Daily and systematically, Israeli occupation forces commit violations and attacks against Palestinian citizens, closures, deliberate detentions, home demolitions and deportation, suffocating and complicating Palestinian lives in order to force them to leave their homelands.
