A group of illegal Israeli settlers attacked on Saturday Palestinian children near the Ibrahimi Mosque in the old town of Hebron, located in the southern portion of the West Bank.
A group of children outside the mosque were viciously attacked by Israeli settlers, with Israeli occupation soldiers standing by and not intervening.
Violence committed by Israeli settlers against Palestinians and their properties is frequent in the West Bank, yet the Israeli occupation authorities do not often take legal action against it.
More than 650,000 Israelis have illegally settled in parts of the West Bank, which is a breach of international law and the accepted standard that forbids the resettlement of citizens of the occupying power to the region being occupied.
