DaysofPal- Hamas stated that the increasing violations by the Israeli occupation place a responsibility on mediators and the U.S. administration to stop efforts aimed at undermining the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
In a statement issued Saturday, Hamas said that the Israeli army’s ongoing removal of the yellow demarcation line and its westward advancement—accompanied by mass displacement and ongoing airstrikes and artillery shelling in eastern Gaza—constitute a blatant breach of the ceasefire agreement by the occupying forces.
The Movement stressed that these systematic violations by Israel have led to the deaths of hundreds of Palestinians through air raids and targeted killings under fabricated pretexts. They also resulted in changes to the withdrawal lines of Israeli forces, violating the agreed-upon maps.
Hamas reiterated its rejection of all attempts by Netanyahu’s government to impose a new reality contrary to what was agreed upon, and called on mediators to act urgently to stop these violations immediately.
The statement also urged the U.S. administration to uphold its commitments and pressure Israel to fulfill its obligations and refrain from sabotaging the ceasefire process in Gaza.
Later on Saturday afternoon, five civilians were killed and others wounded when Israeli drones targeted a car in Gaza City, in a continuation of ceasefire violations.
The drone strike hit a vehicle near the Abbas intersection in western Gaza, resulting in casualties.
Since the ceasefire began on October 10, 323 Palestinians have been killed and 788 injured due to Israeli attacks. The total death toll from Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023, has reached 69,738 martyrs and 170,863 injuries.
