The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has hailed Chilean President Gabriel Boric for refusing to receive the credentials of the Israeli ambassador to the country.
Hamas spokesperson Jihad Taha expressed appreciation for the Chilean president’s decision that he took in protest at the Israeli occupation army’s killing of Palestinian children in Gaza.
In a press statement early Friday, Taha called on Chile and all countries around the world to sever their ties with the Israeli occupation in support of liberation and humanitarian justice issues, foremost among them is the Palestinian cause.
