Hamas: Holding “Israeli Flags March” Will Deteriorate Situation

Days of Palestine – Gaza

Hamas Movement confirmed Thursday that the Israeli occupation leadership’s allowing extremists to storm the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and desecration its sanctity in the so-called flag march on the twenty-ninth of this month crossed the red lines, making it bear the heavy costs of its racist and extremist behavior.

Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum said in a press statement, Wednesday, that the occupation government should understand the messages of the Palestinian resistance well, away from the mentality of terrorism and extremism that it has been accustomed to.

Barhoum warned the occupation government against crossing the red lines, which would deteriorate the situation, calling on mediators and decision-makers in the region to put pressure on the occupation government, and restrain it, stressing that any developments in the scene are related to its behavior in the field.

He stressed that the Palestinian people in all squares of the homeland continue to confront all the plans of the occupation with full force, stressing that the resistance will not abandon its duty to protect our people and its holy sites, and is ready to deal with all scenarios.

Palestinian calls continue, regarding the necessity of station and the large crowd in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, to confront the plans of the “Israeli” occupation and settlers scheduled for next Sunday.

Activists called for wide participation in a protest called “You will not raise your flags” at Al-Aqsa Mosque, next Sunday; To thwart the settlers’ plans to organize the “Zionist flags march.”

The occupation forces carried out a campaign of summoning and arresting about 100 young men from occupied Jerusalem and Umm al-Fahm, in an attempt to secure the Judaization flags march scheduled for next Sunday.

The occupation fears the possibility of confrontations, on the anniversary of the occupation of East Jerusalem, or what they call the “Unification of Jerusalem Day”, which falls on the 29th of May.

The Israeli occupation forces raised the state of alert in the city of Jerusalem, and cities inside the Palestinian territories such as Acre, Lod, and Ramle; Against the background of the “March of Flags”.

The alleged “temple” groups called for a mass storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque; Celebrating the anniversary of the occupation of East Jerusalem, raising the Israeli flags in its courtyards, and performing their Talmudic rituals, and concurrently with that, Jerusalem calls for seclusion were launched at Al-Aqsa from May 27.
