DaysofPal- Hamas Political Bureau member Husam Badran stated that the increasing attacks across the West Bank by Israeli settlers indicate that settler violence has escalated into an open war against the Palestinian people, aimed at undermining the presence of the Palestinian people on their land and creating a dangerous situation.
In remarks released on Monday evening, Badran called for immediate and unified national action in response.
He expressed appreciation for Palestinians in the affected areas, highlighting the bravery of youth and local groups who are standing up to settler assaults and working to protect their communities and property, noting that their role is a crucial frontline defense for both land and dignity.
Badran emphasized the need, at this stage, to reinforce national committees and grassroots protection groups in towns and villages to counter the attacks and improve community preparedness against the organized settlers’ terrorism supported by the Israeli forces.
Badran also urged greater coordination among all political factions and community organizations, along with increased support and aid for residents in impacted areas.
