DaysofPal— The Hamas Movement declared on Wednesday its ready to move forward with a comprehensive deal that includes the release of all Israeli captives in a comprehensive deal.
The Movement also said it’s ready for the formation of an independent national administration in Gaza, which consists of technocrats and would manage all sectors of the enclave.
This initiative is part of a broader proposal aimed at reaching a final settlement with the Israeli occupation and ending the ongoing genocide against Gaza.
Hamas emphasized that the establishment of an independent national administration seeks to separate administrative and service work from party frameworks, stressing the need for this administration to immediately take on responsibilities to meet the needs of Gaza’s residents.
The Movement reiterated its readiness to engage in a comprehensive deal that would involve releasing all Israeli captives in exchange for an agreed number of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.
Hamas insisted that this deal should include a complete cessation of the war and the withdrawal of occupation forces from Gaza.
The conditions set by Hamas for the agreement include opening border crossings and allowing the entry of all humanitarian and relief supplies without restrictions, in addition to initiating the reconstruction of Gaza.
Moreover, Hamas confirmed that it is still awaiting an official response from the Israeli side to this proposal, which was presented through mediators on August 18. Other Palestinian factions have also expressed their approval of the proposal.
The proposal has sparked international attention, with some international parties urging the exploitation of this opportunity to reach a final solution, while the Israeli occupation continues to maintain stringent conditions.
Yesterday, U.S. President Donald Trump reiterated his public call for Hamas to immediately release all Israeli captives, asserting that “things will change quickly and the war will end” if this demand is met.
