Groups of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, invaded on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, the Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyards. The Israeli settlers conducted provocative tours within its courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals.

The Israeli occupation forces have been imposing restrictions on the entry of Muslim and Palestinian worshippers coming from Jerusalem and the occupied territories to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

They meticulously check their identities and detain some of them at the external gates.

On a daily basis, Israeli settlers invade Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of occupation forces in an effort to assert full control over the holy site, both spatially and temporally.

The so-called “Temple Mount groups” continue to call for the largest possible number of settlers to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque during the upcoming Jewish holidays, set to begin later this month.

The Jewish holidays begin with “Rosh Hashanah,” which falls on Saturday and Sunday, September 16th and 17th of the current year. This is followed by the “Ten Days of Repentance,” during which incursions intensify. Then comes “Yom Kippur” on Monday, the 25th of the same month, followed by “Sukkot,” which starts on Saturday, September 30th, and continues until Saturday, October 7th of the upcoming month.
