Dozens of Palestinians in Gaza joined in protests along the Israeli fence to denounce the latest Israeli crimes in the occupied Jenin, on Friday, January 27.
Palestinian protesters burned tires to denounce the Israeli crimes in Jenin, which was followed by Israel’s bombing of several sites in Gaza.
Local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces targeted the Palestinian demonstrators with live bullets and tear gas canisters. However, no injuries were reported.
Meanwhile, Palestinians organize mass demonstrations in the middle of the Gaza Strip, expressing their anger at the Israeli escalating violence.
Earlier yesterday, Israeli occupation forces invaded Jenin and killed 9 Palestinians, including an elderly woman. The Israeli attacks also injured 20 others.
The crime triggered wide condemnation and fueled several demonstrations across the Palestinian lands. Thousands took to the streets denouncing the crimes.
Israeli forces quelled the protest in the West Bank and Jerusalem and killed another Palestinian youth in Al-Ram town, east of occupied Jerusalem.
Furthermore, Israeli warplanes targeted several sites across the Gaza Strip, causing damage to a number of Palestinian homes.
The Israeli media said that the attacks were carried out after the Palestinian resistance fired projectiles at the Israeli settlements adjacent to Gaza’s border.
Palestinians in Gaza have been living under a sea, air, and land blockade imposed by Israel since 2006. Israeli warplanes regularly carry out airstrikes on Gaza, causing casualties and losses.
