Palestinian media outlets in Gaza have called on Saturday the United State Congress and international parliaments for a visit as Israeli blockade enters its 16th year.
The press conference stressed on putting an end to the “inhuman” blockade imposed over the enclave since 2007.
“We urge you to come to Gaza to end Israel’s never ending inhuman brutal blockade on two million residents in Gaza that led to de-development of the territory.” the outlets spokesperson called on.
The siege has led to shortages of basic items such as food and fuel. It has also stymied Gaza’s potential for long term economic development.
A number of press agencies covered the incident amid presence of pro-Palestinian activists.
