DaysofPal- The death toll from Israeli strikes in central Gaza has risen to 55, including five children, as more bodies were recovered, while three people were killed in an early morning airstrike near the Lebanese capital, officials said on Friday.
At least 55 Palestinians were killed and 186 others were injured in three massacres carried out by Israeli occupation forces against families in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, according to medical reports.
Officials from the Al-Aqsa hospital said that although 16 people were initially killed in two strikes on Thursday on the central Nuseirat refugee camp in the Gaza Strip, more bodies were being brought in.
The hospital reported that 21 dead bodies had been brought in from the strikes overall, some of which had been moved from the Awda hospital where they had been taken the day before.
An 18-month-old and his 10-year-old sister were killed in one of the strikes; the father was killed by an Israeli airstrike four months prior, and the mother of the children was still unaccounted for as of Friday.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel’s genocide in Gaza has resulted in at least 43,259 Palestinian deaths and 101,827 injuries.
