DaysofPal- In the midst of catastrophic humanitarian suffering for more than two million Palestinians, half of them children, the Israeli occupation army continued, for the 404th consecutive day, to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially in the northern areas.
At least 43,712 people have been killed and 103,258 wounded in Israeli military attacks on Gaza since October 7, 2023, the enclave’s Health Ministry says. Of those, 47 Palestinians were killed and 182 wounded in the latest 24-hour reporting period, the ministry added.
Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said on Wednesday that the Israeli occupation army carried out attacks on several homes, civilian targets, and shelter centers in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, killing and injuring dozens of citizens.
The Israeli army’s large-scale genocidal campaign in northern Gaza, especially in Jabalia and Beit Lahia, has entered day 40, where its forces continue to intensively bomb homes and shelters and attack civilians while imposing a tight siege on the entire area.
Deliberate Israeli attacks on ambulances and civil defense workers have already deprived northern Gaza of any rescue services.
According to local sources, civil defense workers successfully pulled two children alive from the rubble of a house belonging to the family of Awaida, which was bombed by the Israeli army yesterday in al-Sabra area, south of Gaza City.
A citizen was also killed when the Israeli army bombed a gathering of people in al-Shuja’iya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
Five citizens were martyred in an Israeli attack on the Kamal Adwan Hospital’s gate in northern Gaza.
Three other people were killed and others were wounded in an Israeli attack on a house belonging to the family of Thabet in an-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
More casualties were reported in different areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery, and shooting attacks last night and today.
According to reports, thousands of victims are still buried beneath the debris or in the streets, where the continuous bombing makes it impossible to get to them.
