DaysofPal- The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Wednesday that 25 Palestinians were killed, and 70 others were injured over the past 24 hours due to continued Israeli airstrikes and military actions.
These recent casualties bring the total number of deaths since Israel’s renewed aggression began on March 18, 2025, to 1,066, with 2,597 individuals injured.
The Ministry also highlighted the dire situation, as many victims remain trapped under rubble or stranded in areas where rescue teams have been unable to reach them.
Local sources reported that three Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike on agricultural land northeast of Rafah, in the southern part of Gaza. Ambulance crews were able to retrieve the bodies, but evacuation orders issued by Israeli forces affected all residents of Rafah, leaving many unable to flee the area. The victims were transported to the Gaza European Hospital for treatment.
In Rafah, a Palestinian man was killed, and several others were injured when Israeli forces targeted a tent that was sheltering displaced families. The airstrikes continued throughout the region, with two Palestinians killed and several others wounded in an Israeli attack on a house in central Khan Yunis, located in southern Gaza.
Israeli artillery also shelled the eastern region of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Yunis, killing a Palestinian.
In the Ma’an area, east of Khan Yunis, Israeli warplanes bombed the Indonesian mosque, which had already been destroyed in previous attacks. In the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, an Israeli airstrike on a house killed two Palestinians and wounded several others.
Another Palestinian was killed and several more were injured in an airstrike targeting a tent sheltering displaced families in Deir al-Balah.
Israeli violence has continued since a ceasefire agreement that had been in effect since January 19, 2025, broke down. Israel’s renewed military actions have resulted in widespread devastation, with many of the victims being civilians, including women and children.
Since the beginning of Israel’s war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, the cumulative toll has been catastrophic. A total of 50,423 Palestinians have been killed in the conflict, while 114,638 others have been injured. The Ministry of Health emphasized that the scale of destruction and loss of life is ongoing, and the situation remains dire for the residents of Gaza as Israeli forces continue their assault on the region.
Rescue operations and humanitarian aid efforts have been severely hampered by the ongoing Israeli airstrikes and military operations, leaving the people of Gaza to endure an increasingly perilous and desperate situation.
