DaysofPal- A recent report by the Government Media Office in Gaza revealed that the Israeli occupation forces have entirely wiped out 1,600 Palestinian families from the civil registry, killing all their members during the ongoing genocide in Gaza, which has lasted 15 months.
The report, based on statistics from Gaza’s Ministry of Health and published today, stated that the Israeli army exterminated these families, erasing them from the civil registry by killing fathers, mothers, and all children. The total number of victims from these families stands at 5,612 individuals.
Furthermore, the report highlighted that 3,471 families were partially wiped out, leaving only a single surviving member from each family. The death toll from these families exceeds 9,000 individuals.
The report described these ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people as part of the broader genocide being carried out by the Israeli occupation with full support and cover from the United States. It also accused several European and Western nations, including the United Kingdom, Germany, and France, of supplying Israel with internationally prohibited and deadly weapons, facilitating these atrocities.
The Government Media Office condemned in the strongest terms the systematic extermination of Palestinian families and all acts of killing and genocide committed by the Israeli occupation. It called on the international community to denounce these crimes against civilians, particularly targeting women and children.
The office demanded international accountability for countries complicit in these atrocities, urging their leaders to be prosecuted in international courts. It emphasized the necessity for the global community and international organizations to pressure the U.S.
administration and the Israeli occupation to halt the ongoing genocide and the continuous bloodshed, which has persisted for over a year.
Backed by the U.S., the Israeli assault on Gaza has resulted in over 155,000 Palestinian casualties, including fatalities and injuries, most of whom are women and children. The conflict has also left over 11,000 individuals missing amidst widespread destruction, famine, and one of the worst humanitarian crises in modern history.
On November 21, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued two arrest warrants for former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for war crimes and crimes against humanity against Palestinians in Gaza, but Israel is still carrying out massacres.
