DaysofPal- Israeli occupation forces have continued to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip for the 178th consecutive day, with more than two million Palestinians still living under blockade conditions marked by closed crossings and tightened military restrictions.
Early Sunday, four Palestinians were killed and several others injured in an Israeli air strike targeting a group of security personnel east of Gaza City. The attack came just hours after a separate drone strike killed one person and wounded three others in another part of the territory.
According to civil defense officials, the victims from the latest strike were transported to Al-Ahli Arab Hospital and Al-Shifa Hospital after the Tuffah neighborhood was hit. Witnesses reported that an Israeli drone targeted a group near a local square in the area.
Earlier, another drone strike targeted a vehicle in central Gaza, killing one Palestinian and injuring three others. Several areas across the territory also experienced gunfire and shelling from land and sea.
Israeli artillery struck eastern parts of Gaza, including areas near Jabalia and eastern Khan Younis, accompanied by intermittent fire from military vehicles. Naval forces also opened fire toward the coast of Rafah in the south, while military units targeted areas northeast of the Bureij refugee camp.
These incidents form part of ongoing ceasefire violations reported since the truce took effect in October 2025. According to Palestinian health authorities, at least 713 Palestinians have been killed and more than 1,900 injured during this period.
Since the start of the genocide in October 2023, the overall toll has exceeded 72,000 deaths and approximately 172,000 injuries, according to Palestinian data. The war has also caused widespread destruction, with around 90 percent of Gaza’s infrastructure damaged or destroyed, leaving the population in increasingly severe humanitarian conditions.
