The Palestinian Civil Defence Service said on Sunday that the Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza enclave, has run out of service amid ceaseless Israeli onslaught on the enclave.
In a statement, the Civil Defence Service eliminated that “Kamal Adwan Hospital in the town of Beit Lahia is out of service in light of the Israeli army’s threats and continuous bombing of the hospital’s surroundings.”
According to the Ministry of Health, 186 health institutions were targeted by the Israeli occupation since the onset of war on October 7; 34 hospitals have been rendered out of service due to the Israeli attacks, and 55 of health centers that the Israeli army took over during ground invasion are now out of service. In addition, 126 ambulances were targeted by the Israeli airstrikes.
The statement issued by Civil Defence also mentioned that the Israeli army fired artillery shells toward Al Awda Hospital in the Tal Al-Zaatar area in the town of Jabalia, which rescue and medical teams have recovered hundreds of Palestinian bodies as Israeli forces continue to bomb it, displaying that many others are still under the rubble.
Nine days ago, the Israeli army initiated new military invasion into Jabalia camp and its surrounding areas, destroying a bunch of its infrastructure and killing hundreds of people even those who sheltered in UN schools.
