DaysofPal- Gaza’s Government Media Office has revealed harrowing details surrounding the return of 120 Palestinian bodies handed over by Israeli occupation, describing the condition of the remains as “extremely dire” after clear evidence of organ theft, torture marks, burn injuries, and field execution.
According to the statement, many of the bodies were missing organs or major parts, prompting strong accusations that Israel had engaged in organ theft.
The office also condemned the deliberate Israeli concealment of information regarding the identities of the deceased, calling on the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to pressure the Israeli occupation to disclose the names of the martyrs whose bodies were returned.
Dr. Mohammed Zaqout, Director General of Hospitals at Gaza’s Ministry of Health, said the ministry is struggling to identify the victims due to the severe state of the bodies.
“We received bodies showing signs of being crushed by tank chains, clear evidence of torture, and burn marks,” Zaqout explained, noting that only six of the 120 bodies have been identified so far.
He added that hospital morgues can only preserve the bodies for about a week, after which burial will be necessary.
Dr. Munir al-Borsh, Director General of the Gaza Health Ministry, described the condition of the returned prisoners as “inhumane and horrifying.”
“Their hands were tied like animals, their eyes blindfolded, and their bodies bore signs of brutal torture and burns that expose the crimes committed in secrecy,” al-Borsh said.
He further revealed that the bodies were not buried underground but kept for months in Israeli morgues, emphasizing that such treatment constitutes “a full-fledged war crime” that demands an immediate international investigation and accountability for those responsible.
The shocking revelations have fueled outrage among Palestinians, who view the return of these bodies not only as evidence of the ongoing Israeli violations but also as a stark reminder of the hidden atrocities inflicted upon Gaza’s captives.
