DaysofPal- At least 30 Palestinians, including numerous women and children, have been killed since dawn today as Israeli forces intensified their bombardment across several areas of the Gaza Strip. The renewed wave of attacks comes amid an escalating campaign of violence that targets civilian areas, further deepening the humanitarian crisis in the besieged enclave.
In the southern city of Khan Yunis, three separate Israeli airstrikes killed 11 Palestinians. The first strike hit a tent sheltering displaced members of the Al-Qadi family in the Al-Mawasi area, resulting in five deaths.
A second strike on a nearby tent belonging to the Abu Nada family killed four, including two children. The third targeted a house belonging to the Abu Shamaleh family, killing two and injuring others, mostly women and children, according to a statement from the Palestinian Civil Defense.
Later, an Israeli drone strike in the Ma’an area east of Khan Yunis killed a woman and her child, while local witnesses reported heavy gunfire from Israeli vehicles east of the town of Qarara.
In the northern Gaza Strip, four Palestinians were killed and several others injured in shelling in the Al-Atatra area in Beit Lahia. The victims’ bodies were transferred to the Indonesian Hospital.
A strike on the al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip killed one person, while shelling on the 20th Street in the Nuseirat refugee camp killed two. Another was killed in the al-Masdar area, north of Deir al-Balah.
A separate strike on a tent sheltering displaced civilians near Abu Hasira Street by the Gaza port killed two Palestinians and injured four others.
The Israeli military also intensified artillery shelling overnight in the Shujaiya neighborhood of Gaza City, blowing up additional residential buildings.
In Rafah, located in the southernmost region of Gaza, Israeli forces continued shelling both the eastern and western parts of the city while demolishing more homes.
Since the collapse of the ceasefire on March 18, Israeli attacks have killed nearly 1,700 Palestinians, with a large proportion being civilians. Humanitarian agencies are warning that the situation is rapidly deteriorating due to a total siege imposed by Israeli authorities.
The blockade has cut off all humanitarian aid, including food, medicine, and other essential supplies, with aid groups reporting signs of widespread famine.
