DayofPal– The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas movement, has confirmed the death of an Israeli female prisoner in northern Gaza, a region relentlessly targeted by Israeli forces and subjected to a systematic campaign of ethnic cleansing.
In a statement, Abu Obaida, the Brigades’ spokesperson, revealed the tragic news after reconnecting with the resistance fighters who had been guarding the detainees. He also issued a chilling warning that another female prisoner is at verge of death as she is trapped in critical condition amid the ongoing onslaught.
Abu Obaida placed full responsibility for the Israeli prisoners’ safety on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his government, and the army leaders.
“War criminal Netanyahu and his government are fully accountable for the suffering and deaths of their prisoners,” he said, stressing that Israel is deliberately exacerbating their plight through relentless attacks.
Abu Obaida also cautioned that the remains of the Israeli prisoners killed in Gaza could disappear due to the widespread destruction caused by Israeli bombardments and the killing of some resistance fighters guarding the prisoners.
Recent Israeli investigations revealed that a team in Netanyahu’s office actively worked to block any potential prisoner exchange deals with Hamas.

Abu Obaida has repeatedly warned Israel of the grave risks to the lives of Israeli prisoners due to ongoing airstrikes across the Gaza Strip as well as the starvation campaign.
“The enemy must prepare to face the challenge of its prisoners’ remains disappearing amidst the devastation,” he concluded.
