Palestinian ambassador and senior veteran official Ribhi Halloum said on Saturday, September 24, that the speech of Mahmoud Abbas at the UN does not represent Palestinian just cause.
“As usual, Mahmoud Abbas repeats the same address for the 17th time with the same tone – begging and appealing- to the international community,” he noted.
He added that such tone is no longer effective enough to restore our rights.
Other Palestinian officials have been in line with Mr. Halloum’s words, addressing Abbas’ “nonsense” speech.
The speech came as Israeli occupation have been implementing harsh measures in the West Bank in which Israeli occupation oppression has been on the rise.
