Violent clashes erupted at dawn today, Tuesday (3/23), with the Israeli occupation forces on Mount Al-Arma near the town of Beita, south of Nablus, in the northern West Bank.
Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the area coinciding with the presence of dozens of young men who decided to Rabat on the mountain to repel any incursion of settlers.
The sources stated that the Israeli occupation forces fired tear gas and sound canisters at the protesters and stationed, which led to the occurrence of many suffocation injuries, which were field-treated by the Red Crescent crews who prepared an emergency tent at the site.
With the hours of yesterday evening, Monday, dozens of village youths flocked to Rabat on Mount Al-Arma, in preparation and in anticipation of being attacked by settlers.
Extremist settlers, backed by official settlement institutions, are preparing to storm Mount Al-Urma and try to control it.
Earlier, activist Fayyad Dweikat, a resident of Beita, confirmed that the residents are fully prepared to repel settler incursions.
