DaysofPal- American actor Mark Ruffalo strongly criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after he welcomed the dismissal of the International Criminal Court’s prosecutor Karim Khan, describing Netanyahu as a “deranged killer.”
In a post on the platform X on Monday, Ruffalo stated that “the dismissal of the International Criminal Court’s prosecutor will not erase the war crimes committed by Israel in the Gaza Strip.”
He added, “You will not escape justice, and you will not be able to change history. You are a deranged killer, Benjamin Netanyahu, and that is how history will always remember you.”
Last Friday, the Assembly of States Parties to the International Criminal Court relieved Karim Khan of his duties following an investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct, but many observers said it’s because of pressure from the Israeli occupation and US.
They added that the court has been facing increasing pressure from both the United States and Israel after issuing arrest warrants for Netanyahu and former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant over the Israeli war crimes against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
