DaysofPal – Two Palestinian brothers were injured in the early hours of Saturday after Israeli settlers attacked their family’s vehicle with stones in the Wadi al-Shaer area, located between the town of Al-Lubban al-Sharqiya and the city of Salfit in the occupied West Bank.
Local sources reported that settlers targeted the vehicle of Palestinian resident Ahmad Mansour Owais as it was passing through the area. The attack left his two sons, Mustafa and Ali, with head and facial injuries after they were struck by stones.
The injured children were transported to Martyr Yasser Arafat Government Hospital in Salfit, where they received medical treatment.
The assault occurred alongside a series of settler attacks reported across several West Bank governorates during the same night. According to local reports, groups of settlers, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, stormed the town of Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah, where they attacked Palestinian homes and vandalized a residential building, causing extensive damage.
In the nearby village of Umm Safa, violent confrontations erupted after settlers advanced toward the outskirts of the community. Several Palestinians were injured, while others suffered from tear gas inhalation after Israeli forces fired tear gas and stun grenades during the clashes.
In a related incident, settlers reportedly set fire to large areas of Palestinian agricultural land after attacking fields in several towns and villages across the occupied West Bank, causing significant damage to cultivated farmland.
The attacks were accompanied by Israeli military measures, including the closure of several checkpoints and major roads. Local sources said these restrictions were imposed to facilitate settler movements and provide security for the attacks, while limiting Palestinians’ ability to move and protect their property.
