DaysofPal- The death toll from the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza has risen to 73,223, with 173,654 people injured since October 7, 2024, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health.
In its statistical report, the ministry said that 3 additional deaths and 11 injuries were recorded in the past 24 hours as casualties were brought to hospitals across the territory.
The ministry also reported that since a ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, at least 1,101 people have been killed and 3,546 injured.
An additional 800 bodies have reportedly been recovered from under rubble during that period.
Officials noted that several victims remain trapped beneath collapsed buildings or in areas that are difficult to access, as emergency and civil defense teams continue to face significant challenges due to ongoing risks and conditions on the ground.
The health authority said it will continue issuing daily updates on casualty figures while warning that medical and emergency services are operating under severe strain, limiting their ability to reach victims and provide adequate care across Gaza.
The figures reflect the scale of the humanitarian crisis as the Israeli genocide continues to impact civilians and infrastructure throughout the Gaza Strip.
