DaysofPal- The Palestinian rights organization Mu’ta Center documented 1,183 violations committed by Israeli occupation forces and settlers across the occupied West Bank between July 3 and July 9, 2026, highlighting an escalation in military operations, arrests, demolitions, and settler attacks.
The latest report of the center shows that the recorded violations resulted in the killing of (1) Palestinian, the injury of (44) others, and the arrest or detention of (130) Palestinians during the reporting period.
The report said Israeli occupation forces carried out 166 military raids on cities and towns across the West Bank, including 252 home searches, property confiscations, and 41 incidents involving the use of live fire. It also documented the demolition or destruction of 57 public and private buildings and other structures.
Israel also intensified restrictions on Palestinian movement, with the report recording 292 incidents involving military checkpoints and 43 cases of road closures affecting key routes and populated areas.
The center further documented 136 settler attacks during the week, including five incidents of physical assault against Palestinians.
In addition, the report recorded seven violations targeting Islamic and Christian holy sites, three incidents affecting the education and media sectors, and six cases involving the forced displacement or expulsion of Palestinians from their homes and lands.
The findings come after the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission reported that Israeli occupation forces and settlers carried out a total of 11,074 violations during the first half of 2026. According to the commission, Hebron recorded the highest number of incidents with 2,224, followed by Ramallah and al-Bireh with 2,175, Nablus with 2,095, and Bethlehem with 1,137.
Since October 7, 2023, violence by Israeli occupation forces and settlers in the occupied West Bank has intensified significantly. According to official Palestinian figures, the escalation has resulted in the killing of 1,751 Palestinians, the injury of 12,919 others, the arrest of nearly 24,000 Palestinians, some of whom were later released, and the displacement of approximately 33,000 people from their communities.
