DaysofPal- The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Sunday that three Palestinians were killed and 16 others injured over the past 24 hours as a result of ongoing Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the ministry said that a number of bodies remain trapped beneath rubble and lying in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews have been unable to reach targeted areas. The ministry warned that the actual death toll is likely higher and could continue to rise as rescue efforts remain hindered by the ongoing attacks.
Since Sunday morning, Israeli occupation forces have carried out airstrikes and opened fire on Palestinians in various parts of the Gaza Strip, according to local reports. These incidents come amid continued violations of the ceasefire agreement that has been in effect since October 10, 2025.
The ministry reported that since the ceasefire was announced on October 10, a total of 986 Palestinians have been killed and 3,138 injured. It also recorded 783 cases in which bodies were recovered from beneath the rubble during the same period.
According to the ministry’s cumulative statistics, the overall death toll since the start of the genocide on October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,996, while the number of injured has reached 173,246, underscoring the continuing human toll of the conflict.
Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians remain displaced across the Gaza Strip, living in tents and temporary shelters after Israeli military operations destroyed or severely damaged their homes. Many families have been forced to relocate multiple times and now reside in camps that lack basic services, infrastructure, and adequate living conditions.
