DaysofPal- Hamas Movement has called for intensifying popular and international solidarity activities in support of Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Hamas praised the ongoing mass mobilization and solidarity events backing the prisoners’ legitimate rights and condemning the daily crimes and abuses against them, most recently the approval of a criminal law authorizing the execution of prisoners.
The movement urged the Palestinian people, the wider Arab and Muslim nation, and institutions supporting prisoners around the world to “intensify and strengthen all forms of popular action and solidarity activities.
Hamas called for marking Palestinian Prisoners’ Day on April 17, as a “national and international day to raise the voice in support of Palestinian prisoners, expose the crimes of the fascist occupation government against them, and apply pressure by all means to overturn the criminal execution law.”
