DaysofPal- Israeli occupation forces continued ceasefire violations in the Gaza Strip for the 179th consecutive day on Wednesday, carrying out artillery shelling and gunfire across several areas in the enclave.
According to local sources, Israeli artillery targeted eastern areas of Khan Younis in the south, while naval vessels opened fire toward the shores of Nuseirat and Gaza City. No casualties were reported in those naval attacks.
Artillery fire also struck the Beit Lahia project in northern Gaza, while military vehicles fired toward eastern parts of Gaza City, further escalating tensions on the ground.
Since October 10, Israeli forces have repeatedly violated the ceasefire agreement through artillery and air strikes, as well as gunfire from military vehicles and naval forces. The demolition and destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure across various parts of the territory have accompanied these operations.
The Ministry of Health reports that these violations have led to the deaths of 730 Palestinians and injured 1,990 others. Rescue teams have also recovered the bodies of 759 victims during this period.
The cumulative toll since the onset of the genocide on October 7, 2023, has increased to 72,309 killed and 172,090 injured, highlighting the scale of the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
