DaysofPal — The Health Ministry in Gaza reported on Saturday that Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have killed 692 Palestinians and injured 1,895 others since the ceasefire came into effect in October 2025.
In a statement released to Safa news agency, the ministry said hospitals across the Gaza Strip received one fatality and 19 injuries over the past 48 hours.
The ministry noted that several victims remain trapped under rubble or lying in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews continue to face difficulties reaching them due to ongoing conditions on the ground.
According to the statement, rescue teams have so far recovered 756 bodies since the ceasefire began on October 11, 2025.
The ministry also provided updated figures on the overall toll since the outbreak of the war on October 7, 2023, reporting that the total number of fatalities has risen to 72,268, with 171,991 people injured.
The situation in Gaza remains dire, with limited access to emergency services and continued challenges in recovery and humanitarian response efforts.
