DaysofPal- The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested 16 women, most of them wives of former prisoners, in the West Bank.
Early Wednesday morning, the IOF carried out a series of raids and arrests across different areas of the West Bank, targeting, among others, the wives of released detainees.
Local sources reported that around 16 women were detained during a raid on the city of Qalqilya, the majority of whom are wives of former prisoners.
In a related incident, Israeli forces arrested 45-year-old Asiya Ahmad Mar’i from Qarawat Bani Hassan, west of Salfit, after raiding and searching her home.
Israeli forces also stormed the town of Aqaba, north of Tubas, deploying several military vehicles. Troops spread throughout the town’s neighborhoods and raided multiple homes.
Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers raided a house in the Jabal Abu Dhahir area of Jenin and arrested a young man, Madin Arouq, during a separate raid on the town of Burqin, west of the city.
