DaysofPal- Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) continued to violate the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip for the 121st straight day on Sunday, carrying out a series of airstrikes, artillery attacks, demolitions, and naval fire across several areas of the territory, according to local sources.
Residents reported that IOF conducted demolition operations in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, coinciding with artillery shelling in the area.
Loud explosions were also heard east of the city, which local reports attributed to the use of explosive-laden robots and additional demolition activities.
In southern Gaza, Israeli warplanes struck areas east of Khan Younis, amid heavy aerial activity over the region.
Ground forces reportedly demolished residential buildings in the same area in the continued Israeli escalation on the ground.
Israeli naval vessels were also reported to have opened fire off the coast of Khan Younis, extending the scope of the ceasefire violations to Gaza’s coastal waters.
Medical and local sources said that at least six Palestinians were killed on Sunday as a result of Israeli air and artillery bombardments, as well as direct fire in various parts of the Strip.
The latest incidents occur as the Israeli ongoing genocidal war in Gaza continues to exact a heavy toll on the civilian population.
Palestinian sources report more than 243,000 people killed or injured since the start of the offensive, the majority of them women and children, with over 8,000 people still missing.
Hundreds of thousands remain displaced, while severe shortages of food and basic supplies have led to famine-related deaths, including among children, and large-scale destruction has been reported throughout the enclave.
