DaysofPal- Israeli occupation forces continued to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip on Saturday, carrying out multiple airstrikes, artillery shelling, and gunfire targeting eastern areas of the territory, resulting in the death of one Palestinian.
Medical sources confirmed that Haroun Nimer Asaad Bahar, aged twenty-seven, was killed by Israeli gunfire near a bus stop in the Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
Earlier, local sources reported that Israeli aircraft conducted three airstrikes east of Khan Younis, while Israeli helicopters and tanks opened fire on the eastern outskirts of the city.
Israeli warplanes also carried out an airstrike east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza. In Gaza City, fighter jets targeted eastern neighborhoods in a separate aerial attack.
Israeli naval vessels fired intensively at sea off the coast of Rafah. Witnesses also reported an Israeli airstrike on Rafah, coinciding with heavy gunfire from Israeli military vehicles north of the city.
Overnight, medical officials at al-Shifa Hospital said four Palestinians, including a woman and two children, were critically wounded after an Israeli drone dropped a bomb on a tent housing displaced families in the al-Atatra area of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza. The attack was followed by artillery shelling of the same area.
These attacks are part of ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement that came into effect in October. According to the Ministry of Health, more than four hundred Palestinians have been killed and nearly one thousand wounded since the ceasefire began.
