DaysofPal – Israeli forces have wounded more than 200 Palestinians in the Tubas governorate of the occupied West Bank, as a major offensive launched on Wednesday continues to wreak widespread destruction.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that 78 of those injured required hospital treatment following the Israeli attacks. After withdrawing from the Tammun and Far’a refugee camps on Friday, Israeli forces shifted their focus to the city of Tubas and nearby villages, including Aqqaba and Tayaseer.

Local officials confirmed that nearly 200 Palestinians have been detained in the past four days. Most were interrogated on-site and released, but at least eight individuals were taken to Israeli military jails. In addition, at least nine Palestinians were arrested in raids across Qalqilya, Jenin, and Nablus, including two children and a woman in Qalqilya, according to local sources.

Violent raids by Israeli soldiers, along with attacks by armed settlers, have intensified since October 2023, with an average of 47 army incursions daily across the occupied West Bank in November.

The mayor of Tammun told Al Jazeera that while the town has endured dozens of raids in recent years, those this week were the most destructive and violent, leaving roads torn up, water networks destroyed, private property vandalized, and residents severely beaten, a pattern repeated in other major Israeli military operations across the West Bank.

In the Jenin refugee camp, Israeli forces have continued a major offensive launched in January, with bulldozers demolishing at least 23 more Palestinian homes. Authorities issued notices claiming the demolitions were needed to ensure “freedom of movement” for Israeli forces, even though the area remains largely empty after prior displacements.

The condemned homes sheltered 340 Palestinians, but only 47, mostly women, were allowed to retrieve their belongings on Thursday. A member of the Jenin Refugee Camp Services Committee said residents were given just two hours to collect possessions, and some could not even recognize their homes due to the destruction.

The armed wing of Palestinian Islamic Jihad reported that its fighters carried out attacks on Israeli forces in Jenin and Tubas on Friday. In Tubas, fighters targeted an Israeli foot patrol with an antipersonnel explosive device in the Wadi al-Tayaseer area. In Jenin, explosives were detonated against Israeli military vehicles in al-Ziyoud and al-Bir in the town of Silat al-Harithiya.

Since October 2023, Israeli forces have killed at least 1,086 Palestinians in the West Bank, including 223 children, with 251 killed in 2025 alone. At least 10,662 Palestinians have been wounded since the start of Israel’s war on Gaza, and more than 20,500 have been detained. As of early November, 9,204 Palestinians remain in Israeli jails, including 3,368 held without charges.

Palestinian deaths have also risen in custody, with 94 deaths documented in Israeli army and prison service facilities since October 2023.
