DaysofPal – The Gaza Center for Human Rights has warned that Israeli forces have killed 350 Palestinians in the 47 days since the ceasefire agreement took effect on October 10, accusing Israel of sustaining a “genocidal pattern” under the cover of international silence.
In a detailed report released Thursday, the organization said that 198 of those killed, 56.6%, were among the most vulnerable groups, including 130 children, 54 women, and 14 elderly people. Most victims, it noted, were struck inside the designated yellow zone that was supposed to ensure civilian safety under the ceasefire terms.
The center noted that Israeli violations have been documented every day since the agreement began, totaling more than 535 breaches, an average of more than 11 per day. These include air and artillery strikes, sniper fire, drone attacks, ground incursions, arrests, and the demolition of residential buildings.
Field teams reported continued bombardment, targeted killings, movement restrictions, and sustained interference with humanitarian aid. Despite Israel’s claim that some 600 aid trucks are permitted daily, only 211 have actually entered Gaza, the center said.
Fuel remains heavily restricted, while medical equipment, bakery supplies, and materials for water and sewage repair are still being denied entry. Thousands of aid trucks remain stalled at crossings awaiting approval.
The center stressed that these policies violate fundamental rights to food, health, water, and housing, deepening Gaza’s humanitarian collapse and obstructing recovery from famine and widespread malnutrition. Recent winter storms, it added, flooded hundreds of tents, exposing the desperate living conditions of displaced families.
The report also accused Israel of keeping the Rafah crossing closed in both directions, blocking travel, and continuing to hold hundreds of detainees and missing persons without disclosure of their whereabouts. Testimonies from recently released detainees described enforced disappearance, torture, ill-treatment, and sexual violence.
“These are not isolated incidents,” the center said. “They are a direct continuation of the genocide Palestinians in Gaza have endured for two consecutive years.”
It added that despite the ceasefire, “the killing has not stopped, protection has not materialized, and lives remain at constant risk.”
The Gaza Center for Human Rights urged the international community to break the “dangerous silence,” warning that inaction enables further violations.
It called on all states party to the Geneva Conventions to launch investigations, activate accountability mechanisms, and pressure Israel to halt its attacks and ensure genuine civilian protection.
“The reality on the ground is clear,” the center concluded. “Israel has not complied. A real ceasefire requires international monitoring, open crossings, an end to bombardment, and the restoration of basic rights. Gaza needs protection, and its people need justice.”
