DaysofPal- Dr. Munir Al-Bursh, Director-General of the Ministry of Health, affirmed that 30 Palestinian bodies were received at Nasser Medical Hospital in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, after being withheld for two years in Israeli morgues.
The return of these bodies has sparked evidence of extrajudicial killings, he said.
Dr. Al-Bursh described the harrowing condition of the bodies, noting severe injuries such as crushed heads and chests, shattered bones, and torn soft tissues.
These injuries suggest that the individuals were subjected to immense pressure, caught between the ground and heavy military machinery.
Such damage, according to Dr. Al-Bursh, indicates deliberate acts rather than battlefield injuries.
“These are not injuries from combat,” Dr. Al-Bursh stated.
“They are field executions and intentional crushing of human bodies beneath iron tracks.” He added.
His statement highlights the brutal nature of the conflict and raises significant concerns over the treatment of Palestinians by Israeli forces.
The return of the bodies has reignited calls for international attention and investigation into the conduct of Israeli military operations in Gaza.
Human rights organizations are being urged to examine these incidents as potential violations of international law.
